During the 1700s, Swiss watchmaking was rapidly advancing, with many of today’s well-known brands originating in Le Locle, a small city nestled in the Jura mountains of Switzerland.
Standing at the forefront of the horological Swiss movement was Abraham Favre, who was eventually titled the ‘Master Watchmaker of Le Locle.’ Many generations of the watchmaker's family laboured to take his celebrated legacy forward, together with Auguste Leuba from Buttes in Val-de-Travers - creating a brand that has been conquering frontiers ever since.

From the outset, the founder of Favre Leuba established a network
of watchmaking workshops around the world, tasked with ensuring that all of the brand’s
watches could receive the best possible servicing and maintain their excellent technical
performance and pristine appearance. As a result, there is no limit on how long a Favre
Leuba watch can keep working, being handed down from one generation to the next, and
living several lives.
Favre Leuba unveils the Chief Tourbillon, its first ever Tourbillon timepiece since the brand’s founding in 1737 – developed in close collaboration with Master Watchmaker Jean-François Mojon. The Chief Tourbillon features a striking three-dimensional Sablier dial showcasing Favre Leuba’s embossed Hourglass emblem. This new Masterpiece is launched as a Limited Edition of 25 pieces.
